Spiral Knights - Preview

Three Rings Design, the developers behind the popular Puzzle Pirates game, is joining forces with SEGA to bring out a brand new online adventure that mixes old school dungeon crawling with today's MMO style gaming. Their newest title is called Spiral Knights and it looks to be a wicked mix between such classics as The Legend of Zelda, Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles and with just a splish-splash of Bomberman. The game has been in an ongoing preview event for the past couple of months and will be going live pretty soon, so I decided to form this little preview for everyone that wasn't fortune enough to snag up an invite.

Spiral Knights - Officially annouced & embargo removed!

Well it's about time! Three Rings Design just teamed up with SEGA as their publisher recently to prepare to launch their upcoming browser game, Spiral Knights. For those that don't know by now: It's pretty much a crazy cross between Legend of Zelda: The Four Swords, Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles and Bomberman.

I've been at this game for quite some time when they hosted some preview event tests last year. I wanted to do some streams and Let's Play sessions, but their NDA kinda stopped me there. Luckily, they've dropped the embargo on their NDA so we can talk about the game as much as we want, so expect a couple of videos  and stream sessions from me in the future!

For more on Spiral Knights, check out the newly re-designed homepage: http://www.spiralknights.com/

Spiral Knights goes live on April 4, 2011.

(Oh and about the invites: Turns out that no more invites can be given out at this point, so I guess you're all gonna have to wait for April 4th to get here... Sorry!)

Grand Chase - Zero reveal interview

SG Interactive is keeping the world of Grand Chase fresh and exciting by revealing a brand new character, and OnRPG has all the details in this exclusive interview!

Many years ago while the Ancient Demons battled, a swordsman mysteriously appeared. Wielding a strange magical blade, he joined the fight and turned the tide of battle. As time went on, his lust for destruction grew and he went into a frenzy. In the end, the Ancient Demons were destroyed and the swordsman nowhere to be found.

Wakfu - Closed Beta Impressions

After several years filled with delays, Ankama is finally ready to give the rest of the world a little taste of their latest foray into the world of Twelve with Wakfu. Wakfu is a MMO Tactical Roleplaying game that features a beautiful cartoon world that is shaped by the actions of every player. As a sequel to their previous MMO Tactical RPG: Dofus, Both titles have become very popular (especially in France) with tons of apparel, toys and even a full blown animated series (which just started its 2nd season recently)! Although I played the original Dofus way back during its first open beta test and didn't think much of it, I managed to snag up a closed beta key for this one, so I gave the game a quick try.

Dino D-Day

So I came across the most outrageous WWII shooter ever made... And it's filled with DINOSAURS! And not just any dinosaurs, but NAZI DINOSAURS!

Set in some twisted version of 1942, Adolf managed to resurrect some dinosaurs to aid the Axis during the war. Now the Allies soliders must deal with not only nazis, but these dino monstrosities.

Playing as humans for both Axis and Allies sounds like pretty average FPS fare, but the stuff you can do as a dinosaur sounds awesome as hell: Stealthy raptors, Desmatosuchuses with god damn machine guns strapped to their backs, and Dilophosaures that can kill enemies and those their dead bodies at other enemies? SIGN ME UP!

The game is set to release on Steam this March 29th, but there's a beta going on right now, and I managed to obtain a key. I'm gonna post a few impressions on it and maybe stream the game for a bit this weekend.

PURE AWESOME!
