Rock Hippo Productions’ latest free-to-play title is primed and ready for action. Brawl Busters is a multiplayer online action game that mixes class-based combat with simple and intuitive controls, creating a game that everyone can have a ball (or in this case, a brawl.)

Brawl Busters - CB Impressions
Rock Hippo
Productions teamed up with Weezor and SkeinGlobe to release a wacky online game
like no other. Brawl Busters is multiplayer online beat ‘em up title that’s
focused on class-based teamwork and simple, but chaotic action. You can play as
one of five different character classes and wreak havoc with some buddies
across colorful urban arenas. Now I know
some of you may be thinking: “Isn’t this just another Team Fortress 2 ripoff?”
and you can STOP RIGHT THERE because it is in fact NOT a TF2 clone! Granted, it
looks similar to TF2 in terms of visual aesthetic, but the gameplay here is
pretty original. Anyway, I’ve been pretty excited about this one and I got some
hands on time during closed and pre-closed beta. OnRPG has been handing out
2000+ beta keys since closed beta started, but for those that weren’t so fortune
to grab one, here’s my overall experience and impressions!

Brawl Busters - Closed Beta Sneak Peek
Yesterday, I got to chat with the guys over at Rock Hippo Productions about their latest game, Brawl Busters, which is going into closed beta next Thursday, August 11th! Personally, I'm pretty damn excited about this one since I previously tried the game out when it was known as "Plan B". Back then, it was really in the fetal stages of development, but I had a ton of fun with it. But anyway: We talked about was pretty basic stuff: Closed beta will be open next week for anyone that gets granted the closed beta key. They keys haven't been distributed yet, but we should get them next Wednesday at the latest. Anyone that plays during closed beta will receive a special title called "Original Buster" and will follow your accounts all the way from open beta and into commercial launch.

Just an update - 7/31/2011
2:13 AM.
Still up when I should be asleep, but here's an update on every little thing you could care less about in my daily life!
I just got invited to a roundtable discussion for the Pre-CBT of Brawl Busters.. Looks like the CBT date is going to be revealed this Thursday and there's going to be no embargo on any information I hear during the conference.
Want to give me some questions to ask the Rock Hippo Production guys regarding the game? If so, leave your questions here in the comment box.
This week is looking good for me, though. Along with the Brawl Busters roundtable, "Agents of Change" DLC for Brink is FINALLY coming out this Wednesday, so I'll have a reason to start playing it again. Really sucks that Brink didn't gain the success I was hoping for, and by the time they patch up and add new stuff, it will be too late. Oh well, I guess.
Other than that, I just started this two hours ago, but I'm already deep into my Rusty Hearts closed beta impressions. I would have started earlier, but a huge gale force storm hit my area only a few days ago. Shit was the heaviest storm I've ever seen, even though some people I know claim that there was an even worse storm that hit us before.
My procrastination powers seem to be growing! Whenever I'm too lazy to procrastinate myself, nature will do it for me!
Nah, but seriously, I hope to have it done before Monday.
...AND NOW IT'S SLEEP-SLEEP TIME.

Plan B officially annouced for US & EU as "Brawl Busters"
FINALLY. I've been waiting to play this little gem of beat 'em up for awhile, and it looks like it's coming soon enough.
RockHippo Productions (same publisher that's hosting MicroVolts) just sealed the deal with SkeinGlobe to release Brawl Busters for US & EU territories. According to SkeinGlobe, Plan B was merely their project/codename for their current title.
For those that do not know: Brawl Busters is a pretty strong example of "What if we turned Valve's Team Fortress 2 into a action game." You can play as five different character classes and battle it out in team based multiplayer, co-op and single player missions.
No other details major are currently available, but mailing list sign ups for closed beta have already begun.
